The Bavarian Nuremberg Airport announces that due to the lifting of the German travel warning for the Balearic Islands, the first Palma flight will take off on March 19, 2021. From April 2021, this destination is to be offered again several times a week.

With the start of the summer flight schedule (valid from March 28, 2021), up to 40 destinations will gradually be accessible non-stop from Nuremberg: In addition to the most popular holiday regions, business destinations and the most important European hubs are also available. Accordingly, Corendon, Tuifly, SunExpress, Eurowings, Ryanair and Vueling, among others, should gradually increase their offers.

The Nuremberg flight plan includes the Spanish destinations Alicante, Barcelona and the Canary Islands Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Tenerife as well as the Balearic Islands Ibiza and Mallorca. Turkey attracts with the seaside resorts of Antalya, Dalaman, Izmir, Adana and Gazipaza (Alanya). In Italy Lamezia Terme, Olbia and Palermo can be reached. Greece is represented by Kos, Corfu, Crete, Rhodes and Thessaloniki. Many of the destinations mentioned should already be flown to at Whitsun, others will follow in the summer.

Two providers on the Kiev route

Wizz Air will offer the destinations Skopje, Bucharest, Sibiu, Cluj and Kiew-Schuljany in the summer flight schedule 2021. Additionally becomes the capital of Ukraine also offered by competitor SkyUp. However, this does not control the inner-city Schuljany Airport (IEV), but rather the large Borispil Airport (KBP), which is far away.

Among the major European metropolises, Amsterdam with KLM, Zurich with Swiss, Istanbul with Turkish Airlines, Vienna with Austrian Airlines and Paris with Air France are served. Lufthansa and Eurowings connect Nuremberg with the hubs in Frankfurt and Düsseldorf. Hamburg will also soon be connected to the Noris again.
