The shipping company Oceania Cruises wants to refurbish two more ships: The Riviera is to be modernized from mid-November 2022 and the Marina is expected to go into dry dock in October 2023. Both ships have a capacity for around 1.210 passengers each.

Previously, the Regatta, Insignia, Nautica and Sirena were updated. The shipping company explained, among other things, that the ships mentioned at the beginning are to be extensively redesigned. This primarily affects the cabins and suites, which are to receive new furniture and exclusive wall and ceiling designs. The washrooms are also to be renewed and enlarged.

Likewise, Oceania Cruises wants to give the Riviera and the Marina a completely renewed gastronomy. This should not only be modernized, but also expanded. They want to be able to offer an additional restaurant in the outdoor area in the future. Among other things, this should be equipped with a grill and a wood-fired pizza oven.
