The aircraft with the registration OE-LAX took off for the last time today at around 10:18 am from Vienna Airport.

It was the last commercial round-trip of the long-haul jet for Austrian Airlines. The plane went to Washington under flight number OS93. The affected aircraft is currently 28,3 years old and has already been sold to a recycling company in the United States. The Boeing 767-300ER was delivered to Lauda Air in 1992.

The OE-LAT was flown out at the beginning of the month. For the OE-LAW, which was also sold to MonoCoque Diversified Interests, there is still no fixed date for the handover to the buyer. The machines with the Registrations OE-LAT, OE-LAX and OE-LAW are disassembled in the United States for part recovery.
