On Friday, November 4, 2022, the second Airbus A320neo of Austrian Airlines landed for the first time at Vienna Airport with the OE-LZO. The medium-haul jet will be christened “Seewinkel”. This machine is to be used commercially from December 2022.

Austrian Airlines also took over this Airbus A320neo “naked”. Just like the OE-LZN, the cabin equipment is installed by the company's own technical operation. The painting work will be carried out in Bratislava, Slovakia. After completion of the activities, the OE-LZO is to be put into commercial flight operations from December 2022.

The newcomer was flown by a transfer team from the Airbus plant in Toulouse to Vienna-Schwechat on Friday. The christening name of this A320neo will be "Seewinkel". For the time being, the OE-LZO will mainly be used in the direction of London Heathrow, Berlin, Frankfurt and Amsterdam. In spring 2022, Austrian Airlines will take delivery of two more machines of this type. In contrast to the first two examples, these will already be taken over from the factory with livery and cabin equipment.
