Second of a total of five new helicopters taken over by ÖAMTC - Generali Versicherung confirms its commitment to ÖAMTC air rescue.

The ÖAMTC air rescue service received the second of a total of five new H135 Helionix helicopters from Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth. "The new H135 promises a significant increase in performance and a reduction in fuel consumption," says Marco Trefanitz, Managing Director of ÖAMTC Air Rescue. "With this state-of-the-art and efficient helicopter, we come a decisive step closer to our vision of saving lives anytime, anywhere."

Before the new Christophorus helicopter is deployed, it is fitted with the medical equipment by the HeliAir technicians in the ÖAMTC air rescue service yard in Innsbruck. The helicopter will also be equipped with the versatile KOKON, the first self-supporting interior paneling in aviation, which was designed and developed by HeliAir.
