The tour operator Tui starts the Greece season from Vienna-Schwechat on Saturday. In the summer of 2022, the tour operator will offer up to 117 weekly departures from Austrian airports to destinations in Greece.
The destinations Heraklion and Crete, which will be offered from Vienna from Saturday, will kick off. From April 10, 2022 we will also be going to Rhodes. In total, there are 19 Greek destinations in the portfolio from Austria.
The summer flight program from Vienna to Crete, Rhodes, Mallorca, Antalya, Cyprus, Apulia and Madeira starts as early as April. Since April 7th there has been a flight from Salzburg Airport to Mallorca and from April 9th to Olbia in Sardinia. Additional flight capacities for the Easter holidays from Vienna to Hurghada, Gran Canaria and Tenerife were quickly fully booked. "We are currently seeing a great desire to travel, and the booking curve is also clearly pointing upwards," says Gottfried Math, Managing Director of TUI Austria. In particular, the classics around the Mediterranean are in demand and are recording growth that is even above the level of 2019. "In some destinations, especially in Greece, the desired hotel may soon no longer be available," Math points out. "Anyone who books now not only secures the best seats, but also the most attractive prices."
