Olympus Airways wants to switch to Boeing 737-800

Advertising

The Greek airline Olympus Airways has phased out the two Boeing 757-200FCF freighters. The SX-AMJ and SX-APX have since been returned to the lessors.

The carrier had the two machines in fleet from the end of 2019 and wanted to expand the cargo area with this model. According to Cargo Facts, however, the plans announced at the time were never implemented. The carrier explains that it will now focus on passenger and cargo flights with the Boeing 737-800 aircraft type.

However, no aircraft of this type have yet been registered on the AOC and no information is given on the origin of the Boeing 737-800. The fleet currently consists of two Airbus A321s (SX-ABQ and SX-ACP), which have been parked in Antalya and Alexandria for some time.
