Air France-KLM Group has confirmed an order for four Airbus A350 Freighters.
The airline group first announced its interest in the freighter in December. Now the group has made its order from Airbus for four A350 Fs a binding contract. The four aircraft are intended to increase Air France's freight capacity, as Simple Flying reports. The Airbus A350 freighter was officially presented at the Dubai Airshow in 2021 together with an order from aircraft leasing company ALC. Since then, there has been steady interest in the type. In addition to the Air France-KLM Group, airlines such as Singapore Airlines and Etihad Airways are already among the confirmed customers. "Congratulations to Air France for joining those who are committed to decisive change in terms of efficiency and sustainability for freight operations," commented Airbus CCO Christian Scherer.
