The tour operator Tui Austria is currently recording a particularly large number of bookings in the direction of Hurghada, Mallorca and Dubai for Easter 2023. Due to the high demand, two additional flights are being launched in the direction of Egypt.

According to the current booking ranking at TUI Austria, Hurghada is far ahead of Mallorca and Marsa Alam, the diving region on the Red Sea, on the medium-haul route. “The beach regions on medium-haul routes are in particularly high demand, with seven destinations among the top 10 Easter travel destinations. In addition to Hurghada and Mallorca, the Canary Islands, Antalya and Cyprus are the most popular destinations this year,” reports Katharina Doppler-Reitner, Head of Flight and Revenue Management at Tui Austria. "We have already reacted to the high demand at Easter and are offering two additional Easter flights with Austrian Airlines from April 1st to 9th and from April 2nd to 10th from Vienna," continues Doppler-Reitner. On long-haul routes, the metropolis of Dubai is in the lead, closely followed by the Maldives and Mauritius.

The top 10 Easter destinations at Tui:

  • Hurghada
  • Mallorca
  • Dubai
  • Marsa Alam
  • Gran Canaria
  • Antalya
  • Maldives
  • Tenerife
  • Mauritius
  • Cyprus
