The tour operator Tui, rescued by the German state, assumes that vacation trips to Mallorca will be possible during the Easter holidays. Germany boss Marek Andryszak said during an online conference that, in his opinion, customers “want to get away” and “all need relaxation and a change of scenery”.

Furthermore, the manager is convinced that vaccinations, proof of immunity and rapid tests “will soon give back the freedom to travel”. While German politics continues to try to stigmatize travel, Andryszak believes that Easter holidays in Mallorca will be possible. To this end, a company-owned hotel will be opened on March 20, 2021 and the Tuifly flights from Hanover, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf to Palma will be reactivated.

So far, the Federal Republic has the travel warning for Mallorca, which turns out to be a real demand killer, not canceled. The Tui Germany boss finds this "disappointing", but hopes that this will happen soon. The Balearic Islands have low infection rates and even fall below Angela Merkel's 35 mark. It should be remembered that Spain requires a negative PCR test to be submitted and, if this is not observed, the airline must refuse carriage.
