As an interesting hub, Munich Airport is of great importance for the PAD. That is why the resumption of the Munich line by Lufthansa this Monday represents a milestone for the restart of the home port. From now on there are almost daily connections to the Lufthansa hub.

The AUA parent company operates the flights in the tried and tested form with a CRJ-900 with 90 seats. Today, Monday, the first, already very well booked, plane took off from Paderborn / Lippstadt Airport at 8.40:XNUMX a.m. During this week, further connections will follow every day except Wednesday. At least one daily flight to Munich is planned until the end of September, and further increases in frequency are planned from October, according to the airport.

“The discussions with Lufthansa were very good and based on trust. The current booking situation shows that the connection to Munich continues to be in high demand in our region. We hope for a high utilization of the machines so that this important connection can be maintained in the long term, ”explains airport managing director Roland Hüser.
