Three Turkish airlines have announced the start of flights between Paderborn and Antalya. These are Pegasus, Freebird and Corendon. In total, the three carriers will offer eight rotations per week.

Due to the corona pandemic, Paderborn had to register for insolvency proceedings under self-administration. This was used to rebuild the airport and could also save considerable costs. After it looked at least for a while that the summer could be rather poor, airlines are now repeatedly announcing new routes or the resumption of routes.

Corendon, Pegasus and Freebird operate the Antalya route as a regular line. So these are not charter flights. The first flight to the Turkish metropolis, which is also a popular holiday destination in summer, is scheduled to take place on July 2, 2021.
