From October 23, 2024, the Vienna Spiegelpalast in the Prater will once again open its doors for a fascinating show experience of a special kind: the new variety production "Geisterstunde" in the Toni Mörwald Palazzo. With a varied program that blurs the line between the real world and the world of ghosts, the new season promises an entertaining and unforgettable experience for all the senses.

From magical acrobatic performances to a sophisticated four-course gourmet meal by celebrity chef Toni Mörwald – the show is a spectacle that is designed to enchant not only the eye but also the palate.

The magic of the “witching hour”

The centerpiece of the new Palazzo season is the show "Ghost Hour," which takes guests into the mysterious and eerily beautiful world of a haunted mansion. Directed by Maximilian Rambaek and co-director Colm O'Grady, the variety program offers a mixture of acrobatics, humor and fascinating visual effects, embodied by scary and strange characters. Viewers can expect a mix of suspense and comedic interludes inspired by the unusual world of ghosts.

Sebastian Matt, who takes on the role of the "master of the house", leads the evening with a lot of wit and charm. He is supported by a number of international artists who captivate the audience with breathtaking acrobatic performances. The "ethereal employees" Anna Kichtchenko and Pablo Prámparo show their impressive skills in the air on the cloth loop, while the duo Zinzi and Evertjan address the fragility and strength of love in a hand-to-hand act. The mystical acrobat Dina Sok also literally balances on a tightrope between the worlds, while the Kiriku Brothers provide fast-paced action with their fast Icarian Games.

Culinary highlights under the sign of the spirits

An essential part of the Palazzo experience is the gourmet cuisine created by Toni Mörwald, which this season also features an exclusive four-course menu. Star chef Mörwald is known for his sophisticated and creative cuisine, which he stages under the motto "Eating time is living time".

In the 2024/25 season, the culinary adventure begins with an exquisite starter: a stracciatella pepper pear, harmoniously combined with Williams pear, olive crumble and radicchio. The intermediate course surprises with a spicy curry risotto, which is given an exotic twist by the addition of shrimp and banana. The main course is a tenderly braised veal fillet with truffle potato gratin and ratatouille. At the end, a sweet highlight awaits: a tarte tatin with verjus ice cream and tarragon caramel sauce, which rounds off the evening appropriately.

Vegetarians also get their money's worth. The focus of the menu is curry risotto with crispy tofu and truffle gnocchi, ensuring that all guests can enjoy an exceptional culinary experience.

The Spiegelpalast: A magical place in the heart of Vienna

The Spiegelpalast, located in Vienna's Prater, is the perfect setting for this extraordinary show. With its nostalgic furnishings, mirrors, candles and the special flair of a century long gone, it offers an atmosphere that is ideal for the mystical "witching hour". The historical feel of the place gives the show additional depth and ensures an immersive experience that draws guests right into the action.

The unique combination of top-class variety art, humorous staging and an exquisite culinary menu make the 2024/25 season at the Palazzo a highlight in Vienna's cultural calendar. The show "Ghost Hour" promises not only to entertain its audience, but to transport them into a magical, scary-beautiful world that could become one of the most sought-after event experiences in the city in the coming months.

An experience for all senses

With “Ghost Hour”, the Toni Mörwald Palazzo offers a show that is perfectly staged to appeal to all the senses. The mix of variety, culinary delights and the unique atmosphere of the Spiegelpalast promises a special form of entertainment that is unrivaled in Vienna. It will be an exciting season full of scary-beautiful surprises and magical moments – a “Ghost Hour” that will be remembered for a long time.
