So-called climate protectors said they had to smudge the Air France-operated Boeing 777-200 with the registration F-GSPB with green paint. Activists of the Greenpeace organization committed several crimes at the same time, because apart from the not inconsiderable damage to property, they also illegally entered the security area.

The incident occurred on Friday at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. The affected machine has been shut down for almost a year due to the corona pandemic. The so-called climate protectors climb over the fence and smeared the Boeing 777-200 with green paint. The whole action was filmed and proudly spread on social media.

The fact is that illegal entry into the security area and smearing of someone else's property are criminal offenses. It is therefore not surprising that the French police stepped in and ended the operation. With the campaign, Greenpeace wanted to draw attention to the fact that the aviation industry would "wash itself green" and at the same time aim to ban short-haul flights.

Crimes by “climate protectors” occur again and again and in some cases these are viewed in a positive light by the media. In Germany, activists at Lübeck Airport took care of their Criminally relevant behavior for a stir, because stink bombs were thrown into the terminal and people illegally gained access to the security area and wanted to attach themselves to an ATR72.
