Aéroports de Paris (ADP) gives an insight into the travel month of August: The airport operator's minus was 64,9 percent compared to the same month last year.

A total of almost nine million passengers were welcomed, as the company said on Tuesday afternoon. The operator's two most important commercial airports remain Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly. Almost 3,2 million passengers were handled in the French capital alone - 68,8 percent fewer than last year. Since the beginning of the year, the Paris airports have recorded a passenger decrease of 65,3 percent to a total of 25,4 million passengers compared to the previous year's figures.

And the developments of the last few weeks do not promise any noticeable improvement. Because the situation is not easing - on the contrary: over 24 new infections were reported in 10.000 hours - worrying numbers. All states will already have the situation under observation and will react to it with travel restrictions if necessary.
