The Philippines will gradually reopen to tourism from February 10, 2022. First of all, people who come from countries with a high vaccination rate are allowed to re-enter. Germany, Austria and Switzerland, among others, are on the “green list”.
The prerequisite for entry without quarantine is that you can prove that you have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. The Philippines requires at least two stitches, with the last one being no more than nine months old. At present, proof of a third vaccination is not yet required, but in addition to proof of vaccination, a negative PCR result, which may not be longer than 48 hours, must be presented.
Important: The period of time from the smear test to the entry check applies to assessing the validity of the test. The departure time is irrelevant. Due to the long travel time from Europe to the Philippines, this should be taken into account.
