On Saturday the Boeing 757-200 operated by the Russian airline Erofey brought rapid test kits with the registration VP-BHM to Erfurt. According to the airport, these are intended for all of Germany.

"We are pleased that, as the state airport of the Free State of Thuringia, we can now also make an important contribution to the fight against the pandemic throughout Germany in the logistics of the corona tests," said airport manager Gerd Stöwer.

The load consists of 480.000 corona tests with a total load of around 20 tons.
