The German national soccer team flew from Nuremberg to Bologna on Friday in an Airbus A320neo chartered by Lufthansa. The team met the Italian national team in the Nations League on Saturday.

The international matches from June 4th to 14th are considered a kind of mini-tournament for the national team before the World Cup in Qatar. For travel to and from games abroad, the DFB uses the airport in the Nuremberg metropolitan region. The "Home Ground" quarter is only about 20 kilometers away at Adidas in Herzogenaurach.

While the national team flew to Italy in a Lufthansa Airbus A320neo charter plane, Bologna is also regularly included in the Nuremberg summer flight schedule: Ryanair takes off for the northern Italian metropolis on Mondays and Fridays. The photo gallery below shows some impressions of the German national team boarding the Lufthansa A320neo.
