In the 2024 summer timetable, the Icelandic low-cost airline Play will also fly between Keflavik and Split. The route should be operated on Tuesdays.

This is the first time that scheduled flights will operate between Iceland and Split, and it is also Play's first destination in Croatia. In 2024, the lowcoster's route network will include around 40 destinations. The first flight is announced for May 28, 2024.

“Split is a dream destination for us at Play. It has beautiful landscapes and a vibrant culture. I have no doubt this will be one of our favorite destinations this year. Everywhere we go we make life difficult for the competition. We want to make travel more affordable and I am sure that our offer in Split will be well received by people who want to visit our beautiful country of Iceland,” says Birgir Jónsson, CEO of Play.
