The Icelandic low-cost airline Play will set course for Hamilton, Canada, from the end of June 2023. The carrier intends to serve this town daily from Keflavik.

This is the first destination in Canada that the low-cost airline will add to its route network. The route is to be served with medium-haul Airbus A320neo jets. Hamilton is located about 70 kilometers southwest of Toronto in the state of Ontario. It can be assumed that Play chose this airport for cost reasons. The first flight is announced for June 22, 2023.
