From next Friday, travel between Australia and New Zealand will be allowed again. Just in time for this, Qantas is again offering international flights.
The Australian airline will operate two routes from Sydney Airport: Six times a week to Auckland and only four times a week to Christchurch. Qantas' low-cost subsidiary Jetstar Airways will also serve the Sydney-Auckland route. The resumption of the flight routes is linked to conditions, such as the news bulletin Swiss Aviation reported. Australians are still not allowed to enter New Zealand. New Zealanders living in Australia, however, have to be quarantined for two weeks when they return to their home country.
