Qatar Airways boss Akbar Al-Baker wants to buy around 50 copies of the Boeing 777XF model from the US aircraft manufacturer. Speaking to the Aviation Club UK, the manager also said the A350F purchase should be off the table.

At the same time, Al-Baker renews the criticism of the manufacturer Airbus regarding the quality defects in the A350 model. The company is accused of doing too little to fix these. The Qatar boss is even of the opinion that Airbus would face problems that would overshadow those that the Boeing Dreamliner had at the beginning.

Review: It was Akbar Al-Baker who criticized Boeing particularly loudly at the time and questioned its quality management. He is now behaving in a similar way towards Airbus in public.
