Gulf carrier Qatar Airways has decided to order 34 Boeing 777-8Fs. At the same time, the airline secured options for 16 more copies. They also have an eye on the Boeing 737 Max 10.

Some time ago, Qatar Airways ordered a total of 60 Boeing 777X. As a result of the current Fachter order, an agreement has been reached with Boeing that the order for the passenger variant will be reduced by 20 copies. Thus one expects 40 Boeing 777X (passengers) and 34 Boeing 777-8F. You are also the launch customer for the cargo plane.

Since Airbus canceled the order for 50 Airbus A321neo, Qatar Airways looked to competitor Boeing for a replacement. The carrier announced that it has signed a letter of intent to purchase 25 Boeing 737 Max 10s. At the same time, options were secured for a further 25 copies.
