Qatar Airways will fly to Frankfurt three times a day in the future

The golf airline will increase its flight frequencies between Doha and Frankfurt on July 1st.

From July 1, 2022, a third daily flight will complement the existing offer of two 777-300ER departures at 10:25 a.m. and 17:35 p.m.: QR072 leaves the Main metropolis at 20:20 p.m. and arrives at 03:30 a.m Boeing 787-9 Doha. Qatar Airways currently offers two daily flights to and from Frankfurt. The carrier is thus making use of the possibilities of the new EU aviation agreement, as reported by the aviation portal Aero.

Qatar Airways had reached its stop lines in Germany: 14 take-offs per week in Frankurt and Munich plus seven departures from other German airports – the bilateral aviation agreement with Germany did not provide more. CATA provides a remedy: The agreement concluded between the EU and Qatar in 2021 will help Qatar Airways to have largely unrestricted and until then steadily increasing flight rights from the entire EU to the Doha hub.

"The route between Doha and Frankfurt is of particular importance to Qatar Airways," said Qatar Regional Manager Ronny de Lange. "It was the second route to Germany launched by Qatar Airways in 2002. The third daily flight from Frankfurt to Doha further improves connectivity."
