The International Airlines Group had around 15,5 million passengers on board in the third quarter of the current financial year. Financially, however, the UK's travel restrictions suffered badly. These have had a much stronger impact on the balance sheet than those of our competitors.

The result is that IAG had to communicate a loss of 2021 million euros for the third quarter of 574. Hopes are on the long haul towards the United States of America. It is expected that there will be a lot of catching up to do and is convinced that both high occupancy rates and good yields can be achieved.

The International Airlines Group includes the airlines British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus, Vueling and the Level brand. The EU Commission is currently examining the acquisition of the Spanish competitor Air Europa, although the result is still completely open.
