Inspiring experience locations along the circular routes for e-bikes invite guests to take the time to immerse themselves in the stories and learn more about local specialties.

The signposts have been cleaned, the wooden benches freshly sanded and new bookable offers have been created - the destination Bern is ready for the 2022 cycling season. Just a few pedal strokes from Bern's old town, the 59-kilometer cycle route 888 Grünes Band Bern is dedicated to nature at eight adventure locations and agriculture and leads once around the federal city. For example, there is a quiz on the seasonality of fruit and vegetables at the Inforama Rütti adventure location.

Along the 43-kilometer cycle route 890 Fernsichtroute Frienisberg, cyclists are encouraged to ponder the past, present and future at four adventure locations while looking into the distance. The highlight of this round tour is the Chutzenturm with its viewing platform with a view of half of Switzerland. The route crosses the Green Belt twice, so the two routes can be combined as desired.

On the Gantrisch Legends Route - around 30 minutes by public transport from the city of Bern - visitors immerse themselves in mystical legends: they hear or read them on the boards at the six adventure locations along the 64-kilometer route. All legends are related to the eventful past in the Gantrisch Nature Park. At the monastery ruins in Rüeggisberg, e-bikers hear the legend of the headless monk, for example. Pleasure-seekers can also look forward to local specialties in the cozy dining rooms or the authentic farm shops along the routes.

This autumn, another cycle route will be opened in the destination of Bern: the Laupen time loop. Cyclists travel mentally back in time to learn more about the rise and fall of old Bern. Finally, in spring 2023, the fifth scenic cycle route will open in the Emmental.
