Rheinland Air Service GmbH (RAS), based in Mönchengladbach, is celebrating its 65th anniversary as a leading MRO service provider and operates at five locations in Germany. Certified by several international aviation authorities, RAS is a reliable partner for aircraft fleet maintenance for numerous regional airlines and leasing companies.
In July 2023, RAS took over Aviation Technik Saar (ATS) at Saarbrücken Airport and merged it with Contact Air Technik GmbH to form RAS SAAR GmbH. The newly created RAS SAAR combines the many years of expertise of both companies in the area of maintenance of regional aircraft and strategically expands the range of services of the RAS Group.
With access to a spacious 2.500 meter long runway at Saarbrücken Airport and a 3.200 m² hangar area, RAS SAAR offers optimal conditions for the maintenance of regional jets, especially the Embraer E-Jet family or comparable models. The clear aim is to further expand the position as the leading European MRO partner for regional aircraft, while consolidating and expanding regional jet capabilities to offer customers a comprehensive service offering.
