Smoke development: Air Malta had to cancel Vienna flight

The airline Air Malta had to cancel flight KM514 from Luqa to Vienna on Thursday. Smoke had formed in the cabin. The Airbus A320 with the registration 9H-AHS was affected.

The incident happened shortly after take-off from the Maltese airport. The captain therefore decided to land back in Luqa. There are said to be 170 passengers and seven crew members on board. According to Air Malta, they were able to leave the plane unharmed. The fire brigade was deployed as a precaution.
