The private railway operator RDC Deutschland intends to significantly expand its range of car and night trains in the coming year. In 2022, the BTE motorail train will operate a total of 136 days on the connection between Hamburg and Lörrach to the south and between Lörrach and Hamburg to the north.

This night train does not stop en route, but drives straight through from the start to the destination station. New in the 2022 offer is a modern type of sleeping car, which also offers a deluxe compartment with bathroom en-suite, a chic design (chrome, wood, leather), two double beds and a fine champagne breakfast with freshly prepared scrambled eggs. The “LiegewagenPlus-Compartment” ticket category, which is particularly popular with families and groups, can also be booked again. ADAC members also benefit from the benefits program with a discount (EUR 15 per trip / booking).

The RDC Group has been active in Germany since 2009. It currently operates the BTE car train Hamburg-Lörrach, the passenger night train Alpen-Sylt-Nachtexpress, the car train Blue Car Train Sylt and the freight train Schleswig-Holstein. In addition, RDC Germany offers personnel services in scheduled and special transport as well as vehicle rental and vehicle management.
