Print Friendly, PDF & Email

From 2025, air rescue in Baden-Württemberg will be comprehensively reformed.

In addition to expanding the existing eight locations to include two new ones in Lahr and Ravenstein, two additional helicopters will be available for 24-hour operation. The Christoph 51 rescue helicopter in Stuttgart will be operational around the clock in the future in order to shorten rescue times. The aim of the reform is to reach all locations in the state in 20 minutes during the day and within 30 minutes at night.
