The Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina has decided to reintroduce the passenger departure tax at all commercial airports in the country from April 1, 2025.

The tax of 1,5 euros per departing passenger paid to the Directorate of Civil Aviation (BHDCA) had previously been suspended to strengthen air transport links, while the airports' share of revenue will be increased from 3% to 30% to retain low-cost airlines.
