Rome: AlbaStar takes on Africa flights

The Spanish charter airline AlbaStar was able to land a charter order from Jennifer Tour in Italy. On behalf of the tour operator, flights to Burkina Faso and Ouagadougou will be carried out from Rome-Fiumicino.

According to AlbaStar, these are the first flights in the company's history towards this region of Africa. The carrier operates on a regular basis within Italy and was able to do so in October 2020 a tender for three subsidized routes win from Sicily. The first flights to Africa are scheduled to take place from April 5, 2021.

AlbaStar is based in Mallorca and has a fleet of five aircraft. There are five Boeing 737-800s and one 737-400 that is currently not in use.
