Royal Jordanian, the national airline of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and Lufthansa Technik AG have signed a contract for a comprehensive supply of components for aircraft in the Airbus A320 family.
Over a period of five years, Lufthansa Technik will provide Total Component Support (TCS) including spare parts supply, parts pooling and home base support for a total of five A319s, six A320s and two A321s. As part of the TCS, the experts from Lufthansa Technik will take care of all aspects of component supply for Royal Jordanian's fleet, from initial deployment studies to setting up a base camp at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman to repair and overhaul, troubleshooting, documentation and engineering services.
“Royal Jordanian is one of our longstanding partners in the Middle East. I am all the more proud that we will continue this excellent collaboration in the future, ”said Kai-Stefan Röpke, Vice President Corporate Sales Europe, Middle East and Africa at Lufthansa Technik. "We strive to guarantee our valued customers first-class aircraft availability and will combine this with the excellent service levels for which our component supply is known."
