The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair is further reducing its flight schedule due to the corona pandemic. This has a particularly strong impact in Ireland and the United Kingdom, where the offer is de facto completely discontinued. The changes are to be implemented on January 21, 2021.

The carrier justifies the step with the sometimes extremely strict entry and quarantine regulations, which have a negative effect on demand. The company did not specify a time horizon for the resumption of those routes that should now be paused. The measure should continue until the provisions are relaxed or repealed. Ryanair expects around 2021 million passengers in January 1,25. The forecast for February and March 2021 is gloomy. At most, they will have half a million travelers, according to the company.
