The Ryanair Group wants to reactivate the destination Krakow from Vienna-Schwechat in the summer flight schedule of 2022. This was formerly served by Laudamotion, but abandoned due to lack of demand.

The resumption of routes that flopped under the fire of the now defunct Austrian airlines seems to focus on Ryanair from Vienna. For example, Paphos, Amman, Agadir and Krakow were unsuccessful at Laudamotion. Ryanair wants to dare to do it again under its own brand.

According to the current planning status, the Krakow route is to be started on July 5, 2022 and will be served four times a week. Machines from the group subsidiaries Buzz and Lauda Europe are used as aircraft. The Polish Ryanair offshoot currently has two Boeing 737 Max 200s in its own livery in Krakow.

Trapani and Dalaman from Bratislava

The base in the Slovak capital was switched from Ryanair DAC to Buzz during the corona pandemic. Specifically, this means that the machines will now be operated by the Polish subsidiary on behalf of the Irish sister. From this airport the Irish group plans to start a non-stop connection to Dalaman. This is to be operated twice a week from March 29 to October 29, 2022. Furthermore, Trapani is to be served with two weekly rotations in the summer flight schedule 2022.

The destination Dalaman, along with other destinations in Turkey, was planned as a Laudamotion in the 2020 summer flight schedule from Vienna. In the course of the changeover to FR flight numbers and the subsequent change of flag to Lauda Europe, the plans were - at least for the time being - dropped.
