The low-cost airline Ryanair will set up another base at Agadir Airport. With two stationed Boeing 737-800s, a total of 2021 destinations in seven European countries, including Vienna, are to be served in the winter flight schedule 22/16.

The offer from this airport will increase to 25 destinations. CEO Eddie Wilson: “We are excited to open our new base in Agadir, which represents a $ 200 million investment in Agadir Airport, our third Moroccan base. We have had an excellent partnership with this airport since our very first flight from Agadir in 2008 and we are very pleased to continue to grow in the region after 13 successful years ”.

The now no longer flying Laudamotion was part of Agadir's program in the 2019/20 winter flight schedule. The route was closed before the start of the corona pandemic due to lack of profitability due to low demand. It is all the more surprising that this is to be relaunched under the Ryanair brand in autumn 2021.
