The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair is offering flights to Agadir, Marrakech and Fès in Morocco in the 2022 summer flight schedule. All three destinations are not served from every airport. For example, from Vienna you only have Agadir in the program.

Just a few weeks ago, the low-cost airline was so angry about the international flight ban imposed by the government in Rabat that the final Withdrawal of all flights from Morocco threatened. They maintain a base in Agadir and employ local staff.

The city Agadir Located on the Atlantic Ocean and known for its 10 km of sandy beaches on the Atlantic coast, Morocco's most vibrant city is the perfect place for water sports fans. Be spoiled for choice and opt to kayak, surf or parasailing while enjoying the best views. Those who prefer land-based fun can hike nearby Paradise Valley - a particularly scenic trail surrounded by impossibly emerald waters. Drive through traditional Berber villages on winding mountain roads to get to Imouzzer, perfectly nestled in the Atlas Mountains. Overall, this Moroccan city has a lot to offer. Whether you're exploring the elegant market stalls, cafes and shops of Port de Plaisance, or haggling for priceless treasures at the traditional souk market, you're sure to have the time of your life.

Marrakech – Famed as the “Red City” of Morocco, it offers something for everyone from the circus-like Jemaa El-Fnaa square to the ornate palaces and stunning gardens. Marrakech is a must-see for tourists looking for a typically Moroccan experience. Steeped in history and culture and a mix of old and new, Marrakech has its own unique personality. Enjoy the hustle and bustle of the medina's souks, where you can find authentic items such as jewellery, lamps and tagine pots, as well as real spices and rich musk oils. Take a trip into the Atlas Mountains and explore the flat terrain on camelback before continuing on to enjoy the views and waterfalls. Last but not least, be sure to take a stroll through the stunning Jardin Majorelle, bought in 1980 by the founder of French fashion house Yves Saint Laurent to save it from destruction. Home to over 3.000 botanical species, an art deco villa and a Berber history museum, the Jardin Majorelle is an Instagrammer's paradise with its bright colors!

Fès is one of the four imperial cities of Morocco and rightly one of the most popular travel destinations in the country. Founded in the 8th century, the city is famous for its unique Muslim buildings and the mighty 15 km long city wall, which many compare to the old city walls of Jerusalem. Its main attraction for visitors is the oriental, terraced old town of Fès el Bali with its stair-lined alleys, some of which are only 50 cm wide, the medieval buildings and the Moorish arched architecture. It has 350 mosques and is considered the most authentic of all the royal city medinas. Visitors can also see the craftsmanship at work in many historical places and thus immerse themselves in Moroccan traditions. The city is the religious, cultural and handicraft center of Morocco - so a stay in Fès is a must on any trip to Morocco.
