On Wednesday, bookings for July and August 2020 can be rebooked once at no extra charge.

As of Wednesday, the Irish low-cost airline Ryanair will waive the charging of the usual rebooking fee for all bookings made for departure dates in July and August 2020. The company is thus joining an industry trend. However, the lowcoster's media release does not provide any information as to whether a possible tariff difference has to be paid for or not.

Ryanair plans to operate around 1 daily flights from July 2020, 1.000. Tickets purchased on June 10, 2020 can be rebooked to a different date - up to December 31, 2020 at the latest - free of charge. The prerequisite is that the original travel period is in July or August 2020.

“With popular vacation destinations like Italy, Portugal and Spain reopening to international tourists, we are ready to welcome passengers on board from July 1st, when Ryanair will operate over 1.000 daily flights across our route network. We want to offer our customers as much confidence and flexibility as possible, with no rebooking fees if their travel plans change, ”said Dara Brady, Director of Marketing & Digital at Ryanair.
