The low-cost airline Easyjet has sold a total of ten Airbus A319s as part of a sale-and-leaseback deal. The deal was made with Irish Lessor Aergo Capital Ltd. connected.

Aircraft that entered service in 2008 are affected. This is the first SLB deal that the two companies have agreed to. In the course of the corona pandemic, Easyjet repeatedly resorted to this means of financing.

“We are delighted to welcome Aergo as one of our new lessors and see them as an important partner as we continue to leverage A319 sale and leasebacks as we phase out these aircraft and Airbus A320neo family aircraft with newer technology," said Easyjet CFO Kenton Jarvis.
