The first Air Serbia ATR 09-00 landed at Salzburg Airport punctually at 72:600 a.m. today – there are now three flights a week from Salzburg to Belgrade. Corendon Airlines will also land in the city of Mozart in the future.

In this way, good connections are offered via Belgrade between the popular Austrian city and other destinations in the route network of the national Serbian airline such as Athens, Bucharest, Dubrovnik, Istanbul, Larnaca, Podgorica, Sarajevo, Skopje, Thessaloniki, Sofia, Split, Tirana and Tivat. Previously, Air Serbia flew twice a week from Salzburg to Niš.

“The flight connection to Salzburg underlines our commitment to improve connectivity between Serbia and Austria. Many Serbian citizens work or live in Austria, which has become an important market for our country, but also offers great opportunities for city breaks and ski holidays,” said Bojan Aranđjelović, Head of Network & Flight Planning at Air Serbia.

Cordon Airlines flies to sunny destinations

With the Turkish airline Corendon, Salzburg Airport has gained a new partner. From now on there will be flights to Antalya on Thursdays and Sundays, to Heraklion on Saturdays and from July there will be a flight to Hurghada every Friday, which will also be offered in the coming winter season.

"As a supplement to our holiday offer from Salzburg, Corendon fits perfectly into our route plans. In addition to the important HUB connections, we also offer a good tourist portfolio for holidaymakers from Salzburg and Bavaria. Turkey, Egypt and Greece are always well booked, the holiday destinations in these countries leave nothing to be desired,” says Christopher Losmann.
