Salzburg Airport is not looking particularly optimistically towards the winter months. Because one expects a significantly lower winter charter traffic than in the years before. “I'm not sure what the ski areas will allow. All of that is still uncertain ”. But the frequency at the airport also depends on this, says Airport Managing Director Bettina Ganghofer.

We are currently in intensive discussions and in lively exchange with the ski areas. However, a precise concept cannot yet be presented on how orf.at reported. "I know that a lot of people are thinking about it, of course the organizers also want to do the business, something will certainly happen, but whether that will come close to the winters of previous years, I doubt."
