There has been a clear upward trend at Salzburg Airport since April 2021. However, the traditionally strong winter season in the first three months of the current year was canceled due to lockdowns and tough entry and quarantine regulations.

In Salzburg it is clear that demand has increased significantly around Easter. In Main 2021, the number of passengers dropped to 469. In terms of flight movements, there was even less going on than in March 2021.

In June 2021, Salzburg had 9.783 passengers traveling on 126 flight connections. The increased demand during the summer holidays is clearly noticeable. In July 2021, there were 490 flight movements and 41.491 passengers. In August 2021, there were 59.070 travelers and 556 flight movements.
