The Maltese holiday airline Corendon Airlines Europe will start a non-stop connection between Salzburg, Austria, and Heraklion, Greece, at the beginning of June 2022. The route is to be served by Boeing 737-800.

The airline plans to operate this route once a week. It is to be flown on the traffic day, Saturday. Corendon Europe will not base any aircraft in Salzburg, but the machine will be flown in from Heraklion.

Flight number XR 797 will take off from the Greek island of Crete at 14:45 p.m. and will reach the city of Mozart around 16:30 p.m. The XR 798 goes in the opposite direction. This flight takes off from Salzburg at 17:30 p.m. and is scheduled to land in Heraklion at 21:05 p.m.

Another route that the Corendon Group will be offering from Salzburg in the summer Antalya. A few days ago, Aviation.Direct took a close look at the airline Corendon Europe as part of the trip reports section. The report can be found with this link.
