Thai Airways has been in the middle of bankruptcy proceedings since May 26th. The responsible court is now granting the airline an additional month to present the restructuring plan.
The legal deadline would have expired on January 2nd. But the management was able to force an extension. This was unavoidable due to the increased complexity, reports the aviation portal Swiss Aviation. The project has yet to be approved by the creditors. The state airline should actually be saved. Instead, the Covid 19 crisis caused the state to drop its carrier.
