Scandinavian airline SAS opened June 2, 2023 with the sale of tickets for the first commercial electric flight to people in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. But there is a catch: the time has not been set, and the necessary aircraft has not yet been built.

2028 seats can be reserved for each of the three first flights, which are expected to take place over the course of 30. “SAS has set itself the goal of zero emissions by 2050. An important part of achieving this goal is the development and deployment of technological innovations such as electric aircraft on shorter routes”.
