The airline Saudia plans to expand its presence at Zurich Airport from February 2023. In addition to the existing Riyadh route, there are also plans to head for the Swiss airport from Jeddah in the future.

It is planned that from February 3, 2023 until March 24, 2023 there will be flights between the two cities on Fridays. A final decision has not yet been made on a possible continuation in the 2023 summer flight schedule. The weekly flights are to be served by Airbus A320s with 110 seats. Saudia offers 90 economy class and 20 business class seats per flight.

With flight number SV233, the carrier will take off from Jeddah at 9:25 a.m. local time and arrive in Zurich at 13:45 p.m. The return flight will be operated as SV232 and will leave the Swiss economic metropolis at around 15:05 p.m .
