The Austrian regional airline Peoples will operate charter flights from Billund and Gothenburg to Altenrhein in winter. These will be offered from mid-January to the end of March 2022.

According to Peoples boss Thomas Krutzler, it is a so-called incoming charter for skiers. The winter sports areas Arlberg and Montafon are close to Altenrhein Airport. These are particularly popular with skiers and snowboarders. The charter flights from Billund and Gothenburg to Altenrhein can be booked through tour operators. They also offer package tours for skiing holidays in Vorarlberg.

The Vienna route will be operated as follows in the winter flight schedule 2021/22:

  • Monday: PE100 / 101 (morning rotation)
  • Tuesday: PE100 / 101 (morning rotation) and PE106 / 107 (evening rotation)
  • Wednesday: PE100 / 101 (morning rotation) and PE106 / 107 (evening rotation)
  • Thursday: PE106 / 107 (evening rotation)
  • Friday: From November 12.11.2021th, 17.12.2021 to December 104th, XNUMX: PEXNUMX (afternoon flight to Vienna)
  • Sunday: From November 14.11.2021th, 19.12.2021 to December 125th, XNUMX: PEXNUMX (evening flight to Altenrhein)

Around Christmas and New Year's, the offer between Altenrhein and Vienna will be greatly thinned out. However, this is not specific to this winter, but has generally been done by Peoples in the past. The background to this is that demand is traditionally low during this period.
