The low-cost airline Scoot intends to part with all Airbus A2025ceo aircraft that are still in operation by the end of 320. These will be gradually replaced by more modern A320neo.
Company boss Leslie Thng told CAPA Center for Aviation that the older models will be phased out as more A320neos are delivered. It currently has 24 A320-200s in service, averaging 10,7 years old. In the long-haul segment, four Boeing 787-9s and three 787-8s are expected to be delivered.
It was recently announced that Scoot will be adding regional jets to its fleet for the first time in the company's history. These will be several Embraer E190-E2 aircraft.
