Print Friendly, PDF & Email

At least in the next few weeks, passengers in Germany do not have to expect further strikes by security staff. The disputers Verdi and the Federal Association of Aviation Security Companies have agreed to mediation.

Both the employee and employer sides have announced that they agreed to ask Hans-Henning Lühr for the arbitration, which is scheduled to begin on April 5, 2024. The latter will submit a recommendation by April 7, 2024, but it is non-binding for both sides. The Verdi union has confirmed that a peace obligation has been agreed with the BDLS until the arbitration has been concluded.
