The Ryanair Group had around 2021 million passengers on board in September 10,6. According to the company, the occupancy rate was 81 percent, one percentage point below August 2021.

In direct comparison with the immediately preceding summer month, the lowcoster recently had 1,5 million fewer passengers on board. However, it was significantly - and also in terms of capacity utilization - above the transport performance of July 2021.

In the previous year, the number of passengers showed a significant downward trend from September 2020 and fell sharply over the winter due to the tough entry and quarantine regulations in many places. It remains to be seen whether or not Ryanair can maintain the fundamental upward trend. Much will also depend on the further decisions of the governments.
